Our Story

Adam Al Gohary, Cothinks founder, began his journey in the world of business intelligence and analytics in 2016. With a background in business management and a master's degree in project management, Adam started his career by asking the questions that most clients have: why should we consider one software over another? What is the ROI of this BI project? What are the benefits of on-premise and cloud implementations? And what are the different software offerings available?


After a successful career working for big consultancies like KPMG, Capgemini, and Avanade, and working on the client side for a few companies. Frustrated with the approach large consultancies take towards their clients, Adam decided to launch Cothinks in 2021, implementing his lessons learned from both sides of the fence. His goal was to help smaller organisations access enterprise-grade technology without the hefty consultancy overheads he had seen in his career. He also wanted to take a more thoughtful approach to implementation that would empower organisations to take charge of their data.


Based in Stockport Greater Manchester, Cothinks was founded with a big dream during some of the most challenging times in modern-day history. We believe that small- to medium-sized businesses should be able to access enterprise-grade insights and cutting-edge technology without the complexities and unnecessary large consultancy overheads.


We believe that data is at the heart of every business, and that companies of any size have the right to access their own data without the unnecessary complexity surrounding technology and implementation practices.
